Writing Workshop -- Using A Dictionary

We use a first grade dictionary to help us check the spelling of words in our drafts.

Helen Keller biographies and Sign Language Lesson

The Super-Stars were learning about Helen Keller. We listened to biographies about her life.

 Our young scientists were using their five senses to observe and learn about many things. We were so happy to have Mrs. Donna Rieser visit our classroom to share American Sign Language with us. We learned how to sign many words like: quiet, mom, dad, girl, boy, bathroom, hello, and good-bye.
